About This Machine

Uniform dispersion,
batch after batch

The JP-MX Series PVC Mixer is a twin-vessel heating and cooling mixer designed for dry-blending PVC resin with stabilisers, plasticisers, fillers, and pigments ahead of extrusion or compounding. The heating vessel's high-speed mixing blades generate frictional heat to gelate and homogenise the compound, which then transfers to the jacketed cooling vessel for rapid temperature reduction — locking in a consistent, free-flowing dry-blend ready for downstream processing.

Three models cover a wide range of batch sizes and production throughputs. The JP-MX 200 is a compact unit suited to lab-scale trials and small-batch compounding. The JP-MX 800 serves mid-range production lines with a larger heating and cooling vessel pair and PLC-timed cycles. The JP-MX 2000 is the high-capacity model with variable-speed drives on both vessels, automated discharge, and recipe-based cycle control — suited to continuous, high-volume PVC compounding operations where batch-to-batch consistency directly affects downstream product quality.

Key Features

  • Twin-vessel heating and cooling design — frictional heat gelates the compound while the jacketed cooling vessel rapidly stabilises it for consistent downstream flow
  • Variable-frequency drive on mixing blades — precise speed control matched to compound formulation and batch size
  • PLC-based recipe control (JP-MX 800 / 2000) — stores mixing temperature, speed, and cycle-time profiles for repeatable batch quality
  • Automated pneumatic discharge valve — rapid, complete batch transfer to the cooling vessel or downstream hopper without manual intervention
  • Sealed enclosure with dust extraction port — contains fine PVC powder and additive dust during high-speed mixing for a cleaner plant environment
  • Water-jacketed cooling vessel with slow-speed agitator — controlled cool-down prevents compound degradation and clumping before storage

Industry Applications

PVC Pipe & Profile Compounding

Dry-blending PVC resin with impact modifiers and stabilisers ahead of pipe and profile extrusion — consistent gelation ensures uniform wall properties along the full extrusion run.

Wire & Cable Compound Preparation

Blending PVC insulation and jacketing compounds with plasticisers and flame-retardant additives — uniform dispersion is critical to consistent insulation properties on cable lines.

Rigid PVC Products

Compound preparation for rigid PVC window profiles, doors, and fittings — precise temperature control during mixing prevents premature degradation of the resin.

Masterbatch & Colour Compounding

Uniform dispersion of pigments and colour concentrates into PVC dry-blends — consistent mixing cycles ensure batch-to-batch colour matching for finished products.
